EYELASH EXTENSIONS
Eyelash Extensions are a cosmetic beauty treatment in which synthetic fibers are attached to your existing natural lashes using a specialized eyelash extension adhesive. The extensions are completely customized in terms of curl, color, length, thickness, and the overall look you are wanting to achieve.

All sets are completely customized to the individual client taking into consideration their eye and face shape, therefore there are a variety of styles that we offer here at Flawless by Shelby.

Lash extensions do require regular maintenance. Refills are recommended every 2-3 weeks.

Full set’s will take anywhere from 2-3 hours and refills are normally around 1.5 hours.

Classic Eyelash Extensions
The most ‘natural’ looking extensions. A single synthetic fiber applied to your natural lash with a 1:1 ratio. The overall ‘thickness’ will depend on how many individual natural lashes you have. Available in a variety of lengths and curls.
Hybrid Eyelash Extensions
The perfect ‘textured’ look. A 50/50 ratio of single extensions and small-medium fans. The perfect set for someone wanting something more than classics but isn’t ready to go to volume yet. Each set will vary from person to person as we all have a different amount of natural lashes. Available in a variety of lengths and curls.
WISPY Eyelash Extensions
The ‘strip lash’ look. Adding a little bit of drama with a spikey wispy look. Perfect for events or someone who just likes to add a bit more drama into their daily look. The overall thickness and length of this set is completely customizable. The spikes can also be made more noticeable or more subtle at the client’s request.
The Barbie Set
The latest creation! The Barbie set is the perfect dramatic but not too dramatic look, focusing on the dark lash line but wispy ends. This set is created using in-depth layering of the lash extensions and therefore the look will vary from client to client as all natural lashes are different. The overall thickness and length of this set is completely customizable.
Russian Volume Extensions
The ‘fluffy’ lash look. Russian volume lashes are created using the meticulous technique of ‘handmade’ fans. This involves placing a small – medium fan consisting of 4-10 lash fibers on each natural lash to create a ‘fluffy’ look. The overall thickness of the look is customizable depending on the clients desired look and health of their natural lashes.
Mega Volume Extensions
They are not for the faint hearted! This set is for those clients wanting their lashes as thick as possible! Get ready for the “how can you see with those things?” or the “do they feel heavy?” questions because we don’t mess around when it comes to our mega volume. These lashes are created using the lightest diameter lash fiber allowing us to add 10-15+ fiber into our big, beautiful fans placed on each individual healthy natural lash. Again, like the Russian volume lashes all our fans are handmade. Overall thickness and length of the extensions will depend on your natural lash health.

EYEBROW WAX
A beauty service used to shape and groom the eyebrows by removing unwanted hair. Eyebrow waxing can help create well – defined and neatly shaped brows, enhancing your facial features and structure. It is a relatively quick and effective method for hair removal but may cause some temporary redness or sensitivity in the treatment area. Regular eyebrow waxing appointments are typically needed to maintain the desired shape.
EYEBROW TINT OR STAIN
An eyebrow tint is a beauty treatment that involves applying a semi-permanent dye to the eyebrow to darken or change the colour of the hair. This is typically accompanied with an eyebrow wax to complete the look of a more defined and prominent brow. There are a range of colours available to match the clients’ desire outcome. An eyebrow stain is like a tint however is designed to adhere to the skin and hair for longer. A tint will last on the skin for 7-10 days and on the hair for 2-4 weeks whereas a stain will last on the skin for 10-14 days and on the hair for 4-6 weeks.
EYEBROW LAMINATION
A beauty procedure that is designed to restructure and set the eyebrows into place. The technique aims to create a fuller, more defined, and lifted look and set the brows into this desired position. The effects can last 4-6 weeks and in generally accompanied by a wax and tint to complete this fresh look. Eyebrow lamination is a popular choice for those clients wanting to achieve a specific brow look without the daily maintenance of eyebrow gels or pencils to provide that structured and tidy look.
LASH LIFTS
A Lash Lift is beauty treatment designed to enhance the appearance of your natural lashes. It involves a 3-step lifting process generally accompanied by a tint to make the lashes appear longer and more prominent without the use of eyelash extensions. This treatment is low maintenance and will generally last 4-6 weeks and the lift will slowly diminish and relax as your lashes go through their natural shedding cycle over this time frame.
COSMETIC EYEBROW TATTOOING
Cosmetic Eyebrow Tattooing is a semi-permanent procedure involving the implantation of pigment into the top layers of the skin. Unlike traditional tattoos, which go deeper into the skin, cosmetic tattooing is typically semi-permanent and designed to fade over time hence why we need to refresh the colour. There are a few different styles of Cosmetic Eyebrow Tattooing.
MICROBLADING
A technique involving implanting pigment into the skin using a manual handheld blade to push the colour into the skin creating ‘hair like’ strokes. This is a ‘natural’ overall look however is not suitable for all skin types. You may have also heard the term ‘feathering’ used.
COMBINATION BROWS
This technique is a mix of microblading and powder/ombre shading. We offer two different types of combination brows. The first being the microblading at just the front of the brow fading into the more defined powder technique for the rest of the eyebrow. Or the second technique is when we microblade the whole brow and then use the powder shading technique to blend everything together seamlessly. This is not suitable or recommended for all skin types.
POWDER / OMBRE BROWS
This is a pixelated shading technique that is created by using a tattoo machine to shade from light to dark creating an “ombre” effect for the brows. This is the least invasive technique and is suitable for most skin types. This is a more defined ‘filled in’ look but is the most long lasting out of the three styles.
